Oscar Nominations 2012

Perhelatan festival film terbesar di Hollywood sudah semakin dekat. Selasa malam, 24 Januari 2012 waktu Indonesia, sudah diumumkan secara resmi para nominasinya. Persaingan antara nominee sudah mulai memanas. Banyak nama yang dijagokan untuk menang, meski tidak sedikit juga nama-nama yang tidak pernah diprediksi sebelumnya mencuat di permukaan.

Tahun ini, film Hugo dan The Artist memimpin dalam hal jumlah nominasi yang diraih masing-masing 11 dan 10 kategori. Brad Pitt juga akhirnya masuk sebagai nominator kategori best lead actor lewat film Money Ball bersaing ketat dengan Goerge Clooney (The Descendants) dan Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) yang juga banyak menuai pujian. Di kategori lead actress, nama Michelle Williams (My Week With Marilyn) banyak disebut-sebut sebagai calon kuat bersaing dengan aktris kawakan, Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady).

Transformer 3 yang banyak menuai kritikan ternyata tetap berbangga memperoleh 3 nominasi. Yang cukup surprise adalah tidak masuknya film Tintin untuk film animasi. Sama dengan Harry Potter 7 Part 2 juga dianggap mengecewakan karena hanya memperoleh 3 nominasi.
