The Academy Award 2015 Goes to...

Perhelatan festival film terbesar dan tergengsi di dunia perfilman sudah selesai di gelar minggu lalu, 23 Februari 2015 (Waktu Hollywood). Opening Oscar kali ini terasa menyenangkan. Neil Patrick Harris (How I Meet your Mother), sang host, tampil musical dengan kalimat-kalimat yang lucu dan sedikit menyindir bersama Anne Kendrick. Beberapa judul dan teaser film dimunculkan lucu. I love it. Hahahaha....

Pada Oscar kali ini, beberapa pihak ada yang tertawa senang karena berhasil menggondol piala botak berlapis emas itu tapi sebaliknya tentu ada yang tertunduk kecewa meski tetap tersenyum lebar karena gagal meraih piala tersebut. Sebut saja Boyhood. Film ini meski diprediksi bakal meraup menang besar tahun ini di Academy, pada kenyataannya, hanya sukses meraih satu piala lewat Patricia Arquette sebagai aktris pemeran pendukung terbaik.

Dalam perhelatan ini, Birdman boleh bertepuk dada bersanding dengan The Grand Budapest Hotel (TGBH) dan Whiplash. Birdman dan TGBH dapat 4 dan Whiplash dapat 3. Saingan lainnya, Boyhood, The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything serta Selma hanya berbagi 1 piala.
